for the performing arts, at 1610 S. Nappanee St. in Elkhart. A map at which you

When are services held?
Sunday services at WHC Elkhart begin at 10 a.m. Eastern time. Midweek services begin
at 7 p.m. on Thursdays.
Is Pastor Parsley involved in this church, or are you just using his name?
Pastor Rod Parsley will preach live via satellite from WHC Columbus for our Sunday
services, unless his schedule doesn’t permit his presence, and will be at WHC Elkhart
in person on Thursday nights. He’s been actively involved in every aspect of launching
and operating this new church.
Why are you starting a new church?
Bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a new community is a great challenge and
an incredible opportunity that God has orchestrated for Pastor Parsley. Northern
Indiana has a intrinsic significance for him because of his long association with
the late pastor and evangelist, Dr. Lester Sumrall. Pastor Parsley is grateful to
Marion and Brenda Schrock, owner of WHC, for making the facility available for this
dynamic new congregation.
Will the services always be where they are now?
"Always" is a long time, but our intent is to meet at WHC on Sunday mornings
and Thursday evenings for the foreseeable future. Any decisions regarding additional
services and locations are a long ways off as we grow a new congregation in Elkhart.
What do you have for kids?
Our intent is to have the most family-friendly church in Elkhart, so young children
can experience God in a way that makes sense for them and so their parents can worship
Him without distraction or concern for their kids’ safety. Our children's ministry
is called Kid Harvest and offers a nursery (birth-age 3), preschool (age 3-kindergarten)
and junior church (grades 1-5) for every service.
Our trained teachers are dedicated both to your children’s safety and to ministering
the Gospel to them.
Do you have Bible studies or other small groups?
A vital part of the vision for WHC Elkhart is to form as many Life Groups as the
congregation can support. Life Groups are in-home gatherings of 8 to 20 people who
meet on a regular basis for fellowship, Bible study and prayer, separately from
the weekly worship service.
New Life Groups have formed all across north-central Indiana. Each are led by one
or more mature Christian leaders who will accept you as you are, strengthen your
faith and encourage you during life’s difficult times. A Life Group is a connection
to a growing church and an awesome God. To find out more about our Life Groups at
